A treasure on the secret garden

My OOTP: Basil the Parakoimomenos and Emperor John Tzimiskes. In my fandom, they are platonic lovers, just like Emperor Theodosius the Younger and the minister and palace eunuch Chrysaphius. I'm not well versed on Eastern Rome history, but I like to read a few about that and make art just for pleasure.

During a stroll, Tzimiskes finds a secret garden in the Palace, but there he finds more than exotic flowers and trees... he steps on the minister eunuch Basil by the lake, taking a bath like a Greek nymph

Of course, being Head Chanberlain and Protovestiarios since his youth, Basil must have known every inch of the Palace... After all, he was the angelic guardian of the celestial imperial city so he found out about this "secret garden"
